Spot on, Suz. Email works well for organising evhriteyng else in my life so it's a strange disappointment how difficult it is to get satisfactory correspondence working with businesses. I have had similar experiences with removalists, the gas company, the manufacturer of a spare part I need for my stove, a small appliance repair firm, and of the six companies I emailed requesting a quote for replacing the roof only one even managed to reply and that was ten days later.I wonder if retail isn't a partial exception to this. I got our blinds through a website the company is on the NSW south coast and they were perfectly made and there were no hitches in any part of the process. In Australia, second hand booksellers are generally pretty good at doing business over the internet.

Hi,I apologize for what hnepeapd to your first comment. After just completing my third blog post, I don't consider myself an expert either- I'm new at this also. Based on what I've learned from reading, research and the coaching I've received, I would offer these suggestions: make sure that you are blogging about a topic that you are passionate about and knowledgeable of; make an effort to offer your readers something of real value that can make a difference in their lives and stay up-to-date on the latest happenings in your area of expertise. If you have the time, studying the blog posts of other bloggers that you enjoy reading may help you to determine how to best approach what you are trying to do in your topic. Also, I believe there are online programs that offer coaching and information to help people that are interested in blogging. If you are interested in or planning to do a WordPress blog, then I can recommend Terry Dean's Blogging Mastery 2 which is very comprehensive and thorough on the topic. I hope this helps you.Vernell
